A R I Z O N A – GALLERY

Arizona Gov Ball

The alternative electronic pop trio, A R I Z O N A, recently dropped their debut studio album, Gallery, and I’m loving the mellow vibes. Really looking forward to attending their set at Governors Ball this Saturday in New York City at 1:30pm. Their album has a modern Men At Work vibe that I was really feeling throughout the entire album. Perfect for a long car ride while the sun sets. Zach’s vocals really shine throughout the entire album, while David’s uplifting melodies and Nate’s soundscape guitar ambiance create a beautiful harmony. The syntax and phrasing are on point!

The electronic element is mostly prominent in the drum arrangements with hints of trap, electro-house, and house sounding drums.

Some of my favorite songs on the album were I Was Wrong, Oceans Away, Ain’t Gonna Leave, Electric Touch, and Cross My Mind. Listening to the entire album in full really did wonders for my work day, creating an enjoyable melody to my work flow.

The trio is made up of Nate (guitar), David (keys) and Zach (vocals). The three of them became really good friends at Emerson College, and then continued that strong bond while attending the impressive Berklee College of Music. Eight years of jamming out in school together had to have given them that inter-group mind reading ability that make all bands successful.
