A-Trak: A 74 Minute DJ Mix

A-Trak 74 minute mix

I agree with Dancing Astronaut, I don’t care WHAT DJ Mag says, A-Trak is the #1 DJ in my heart. A DJ who reads the crowd and improves throughout most of his shows. Simply put, the guy knows how to throw a party for whatever crowd and get the dancing started.  The founder of the popular music label, Fools Gold, didn’t even crack the top 100? This doesn’t make sense to me. Maybe it’s a money thing?

A-Trak was the first DJ to win all three major DJ competition titles (DMC, ITF and Vestax). He was also the first DJ to win five World Championships. Even more impressive, in 1997, he won the DMC World DJ Championship at the early age of 15, making him the youngest and first Canadian winner of the event. Take a look and listen to his winning set here.

The 74 minute mix below contains an impressive 53 tracks mixed flawlessly into the set.
