Anna Sharifi – Need Air

Originally from Copenhagen and currently residing in Berlin, Anna Sharifi is a synth-electro-based band with a deep bass and dark vibe. A Danish singer with a powerful, warm voice, Anna originally performed as a solo act until she met bassist Matthias Zielinski, drummer Michael Fromme, and keyboardist Nina Branner. Influenced by The Knife, Janis Joplin, Portishead, and Leonard Cohen, Anna Sharifi brings a dark, gloomy and melancholic sound to the Berlin club scene.

Their captivating new track is Need Air, a great blend of dark synths and electronic music. Filled with emotion, passion, and great energy, the stormy vocals and lyrics of Need Air provide a pensive and thoughtful direction for the song.  The track captures the dynamic scope of entrapment with its dramatic, suffocating quality.

A San Diego-based music writer, My Nguyen scourges her beat in the attempt to find new bands with rocking material to write about.
