Arcade Fire – Electric Blue

Arcade Fire Electric Blue

The electric indie rockers, Arcade Fire, have shared a brand new video for Electric Blue, off of Everything Now, which is in advance of the album’s July 28th release date.  rBeatzRadio will also be premiering the single on our station.

The track, Electric Blue, is a great indie number with elegant and energized electronic beats.  The music video to the track follows Regine Chassagne who also incorporates the lead vocals in the track, on the streets doing a dance routine after the Mardi Gras celebrations in New Orleans are well over.  The video features Chassagne, who is the focal point of the shoot, at night in the midst of cop cars, a construction crew, and pandemonium as crowds of people are still gathered on the streets after the celebration.

With an electronic feel to the track, a bit of psychedelic is also evident.  Building up to a great energy.  The indie-rock/pop song showcases a great dance vibe emanating right from the core of this great single.

Chassagne who sings in a high energized falsetto etches a dreamy and contagious ambience on this mind-bending track.

The new single is the fourth preview of the band’s new album followed by teasers previously released in Creature Comfort, Everything Now, Signs Of Life,  and Chemistry.  Everything Now was co-produced by Daft Punk’s Thomas Bangalter and Pulp’s Steve Mackey.
