Asbjørn – Nothing 2 Lose

Asbjørn nothing 2 lose

Asbjørn released a music video to his single, Nothing 2 Lose, through Universal Music. The Berlin-based Danish producer and songwriter is looking to bring a unique spin on a generation of young pop artists. He calls it BOY POWER or Pøp 3.0. I personally loved the melody of the vocal chops along with the message.

Asbjørn sent a quote along about reinventing pop music…

“I think it’s high time we guys reinvent pop music from our point of view. I want to show that there are an infinite number of ways to express one’s masculinity – without falling back into age-old stereotypes. We should finally throw all these gender prejudices overboard and be who we want to be.”

Asbjørn talks about the creation process of Nothing 2 Lose

“The track was written during the craziest summer of my life. Three intense months that felt like a single, incredible festival. Including wild parties, bad hangovers and all the highs and lows that are just part of it when you’re in love. There was nothing else around us but him and me. Together, we enjoyed the endless summer nights in Berlin and felt endlessly free. The lines have something timeless; this song is the soundtrack to an unforgettable life that I’ll never forget. “

Asbjørn founded his own label at the age of 19, releasing two albums. His upcoming album is BOY PWR. He’s performed at Montreux Jazz Festival, Reeperbahn Festival, Berlin Festival, London’s Ja Ja Ja Festival, and Electronic Beats Festival.
