Asher Parkes – Slow Motion (feat. Jessie Corne)

World renowned producer Asher Parkes announces the release of his brand new single, Slow Motion, featuring vocals from Jessie Corne.

Parkes was raised in Melbourne, and began as a composer and mutli-instrumentalist at a young age. He learned the art of production through his early collaborations with some of the country’s notable talents, including Andrei Eremin (Chet Faker, Haitus Kaiyote, Japanese Wallpaper), Benny Morgan (Cut Copy, Flume), and Simon Lam (Kllo, I’lls).

Slow Motion is a slow-burning number that elicits a minimalist approach to the recording.  Soaring and ethereal vocals from Jessie Corne accompany the sparse electronics, making this highly dynamic music.  An electric guitar solo can be heard mid-track next to Corne’s exquisite cooing and humming, as well as sounds of strumming from the acoustic guitar that erupt in this slow-striding ballad.

The track is the producer’s second single off his sophomore EP release, Don’t Stay.
