Bruno Martini, Timbaland – Road ft. Johnny Franco

Bruno Martini Timbaland

I interviewed Bruno Martini about a month and a half ago at Electric Zoo. Bruno mentioned to me that he was going to go produce a track with Timbaland for his next project. His new song, Road, featuring Johnny Franco has that pop/folk/electronic feel with a country rock vibe that is becoming increasingly popular through artists like Avicii. Part of Bruno’s signature sound is the authentic guitar, which drives the ambiance in this one. Johnny Franco’s folk vocals add to the carefree yet contemplative vibe that make this track so infectious. The song was released via Universal Music Latin Entertainment’s exclusive EDM record label, Aftercluv.

Bruno Martini has been gaining A LOT of popularity in the industry, with releases like Sun Goes Down, Hear Me Nowand Never Let Me Go that have helped the artist amass over 500 million streams worldwide. He’s gone Platinum in Brazil, right after his most recent, first-ever North American tour.

Johnny Franco was born in San Paulo, Brazil. He always had a knack for sinning, since it was in his family. His father was the famous singer-songwriter, Moacyr Franco.

Road is the first collaboration between Bruno and the legendary producer. They are set to collaborate more in the future, so watch out for these two, I see big things coming from the tandem. Combining an international dance feel with a seasoned producer in the industry can only lead towards greatness. Timbaland was partially responsible for the careers of  Ginuwine,  Aaliyah, Missy Elliott, Nelly Furtado, and Justin Timberlake’s solo career.
