Camila Cabello – Real Friends (Leowi & NGO Remix)

NGO real friends

I stumbled across this Camila Cabello remix of Real Friends done by Leowi & NGOand loved it on first listen. It’s a more uptempo, pop, future bass remix than the original. The original was Camila’s raw vocals, guitar riffs, and her (or someone’s) hand slapping on the guitar for percussion. Whenever I hear a minimal pop track, I eagerly wait for a producer to expand the story from the instrument’s perspective.

The remix sounds primed for radio, and these are young kids producing the remix NGO is an 18-year-old producer from the Bay Area. That’s US lingo for around San Francisco, California. There’s not much about him online; however, he’s a bit over half a million streams on Spotify.

Leowi is a 17-year-old producer from Lithuania. Dom Dielininkaitis aka Leowi became inspired to create electronic music because his MOM was so into it. Is the next generation of electronic producers already here? He started producing music when he was 12 years old. He has around 1.3 million streams on Spotify.
