CHARONNE – FADE (ft. Juna)

CHARONNE - FADE (ft. Juna)

Roman Kouder is one of my favorite up and coming producers right now. CHARONNE is an old-school hip hop side project from Roman Kouder and The Spectre. I typically don’t like when artist submit old school rap arrangements because I feel the style is out-dated; however, Roman and Spectre are doing this with intention and purpose. Roman’s production style in their new project, FADE, captured me with its production value, guitar riffs, chill bass line, and nostalgia factor.

French rap is fairly popular, and these two artists from France are mimicking the United States version of old school rap. They give me a bit of a People Under The Stairs vibe with their flow and melodic elements in the beat. Juna comes in for the hook, giving me a very 90s west-coast rap vibe, looking back at the production with Warren G and Nate Dogg, Regulate.

Very excited to follow Roman Kouder’s new project.
