CHEF BAER – Summertime (feat. TeaMarrr)
Wow, super intimate and authentic soul vibes on TeaMarrr’s vocals. Summertime is my favorite single from CHEF BAER’s new album, Flour. In fact, I was so into TeaMarrr’s voice, I checked out her recent EP, Thanks For The Chapstick, and I loved it! I posted her full EP below. Her voice reminds me of a mix between Brika, Kehlani, Marian Hill, and H.E.R. Her confidence with her vocal arrangement is fantastic. The way her voice resonates and dances around the instrumentation sounds almost flawless to me. Her poetry is also uncut and raw, adding to the authentic feel of her flow.
Chef Baer was able to find a lot of fire features for his new album, showing his skills as a producer who has pull to bring fantastic vocalists into the studio. It’s an eclectic album with hip-hop, R&B, and soul influences.
TeaMarrr’s EP, Thanks For The Chapstick, was released early this summer. I just stumbled across it after listening to Chef Bear’s fire single, and had to post it. The dance between vocals and instrumentation really got to me on this EP.
