Colin Magalong – Blossom

Colin Magalong blossom

Colin Magalong immediately gave me notes of Michael Jackson or Bruno Mars in his effortless control over his new disco/funk/pop track, Blossom. This single brings those nu-disco vibes with a fresh R&B, funk voice in Colin Magalong.

Along with the walking bass line, authentic percussion elements, celestial ambiance, 80s inspired synths, and an accent guitar; this single is bound to get you moving. He describes his genre as future 90s, which I loled at because it’s a great way to describe Blossom and it’s an oxymoron.

Perfect for dancing, grooving, jiving, swaying, swirling, cutting up a rug, late night disco parties, early afternoon disco vibes, the beach, your house, company, rain, or shine. Blossom is Colin’s debut single, so I’m interested to hear if he can repeat his current progressive sound.

Colin Magalong is from San Francisco. His musical influences include Daft Punk, Michael Jackson and Kid Cudi.
