Deidre & the Dark – Unerasable Love

Deidre and the Dark

Deidre & the Dark releases her single Unerasable Love. When listening to this, I feel like I’m in a spy movie. There’s a neo-noir vibe throughout the track that gives me that mischievous and classy ambiance. I have a sudden urge to solve crimes at dusk, then go back to my imagined leather one-seater and smoke a pipe by my fireplace while I contemplate who could have done the crime. I hope James Bond’s people are listening, because this song would be perfect. The single was made at the infamous YouTooCanWoo studios.

Deidre is the vocalist on the track, and I’m guessing the Dark is all the instruments, as the verses are encapsulated by dark melodies and sweeps. Another aspect I love about the song is it’s storytelling, taking the listener to surprisingly uplifting moments during the hook. The fancy song stays true to it’s 60s pop arrangement.
