DNMO – Hollywood (feat. Nevve)

DNMO Hollywood

DNMO is a 16 y/o producer and drummer who recently signed his most recent single to Zeds Dead’s label, Deadbeats. Pretty impressive for a Sophomore in HIGH SCHOOL. Hollywood  is the kid’s most recent single, and it features vocalist Nevve who is best known for her collaborations with Illenium, QUIX, Kill Paris, and BLU J. DNMO really burst onto the scene from his popular remixes of Zeds Dead, Louis The Child, Kill Paris, and MOONZz.

The song has an ominous and apathetic tint to it’s wide atmospheric elements. DNMO’s production around Nevve’s vocals complement each other very well, both giving off dark melodic elements. From Nevve’s smoky vocals, the verse jumps into a chorus filled with gritty synth horns, moving vocal chops, and a dynamic percussion arrangement.

DNMO sent a quote along about working with Nevve…

Working with Nevve was an amazing experience because she has one of the strongest voices in the game right now. We weren’t able to connect on a previous song we started over the summer, so we wanted to figure something out. ‘Hollywood’ was the outcome and I’m extremely proud of the tune. Hope you all enjoy it!

Aiden began his affinity for music in the admiration of rock and hip-hop. He started playing drums at the age of 5, and was signed to Atlantic at only 6 years old. One of those statements is a joke about his massive success at such a young age.

His success with originals really came this year, with his first original release, Sakura, ended up on This Song Is SickHe made that song with KRANE, who’s been crushing it recently (i.e. click HERE to listen to his new album). His second release, Broken, was debuted by Anna Lunoe.

With all this new success in 2017, I’m looking towards 2018 as a big year for DNMO.
