Eden Prince – Toxic ft Marco Foster

I’m a firm believer that familiarity is key (kind of a pun?) in music. When a producer brings in a familiar element to a track, but adds his or her spin, it ticks off a different section of the brain that brings HAPPINESS and nostalgia. The vibes on this one are a  Eden Prince from the United Kingdom teams up with Marco Foster from New York City to produce this cover of Britney Spear‘s popular song, Toxic. I’m loving this nu disco vibe on a classic oldie.

3 months ago, Eden, also made a similar track to Michael Jackson’s “Pretty Young Thing.” If the beat works, stick with it. Both of these covers work fantastically with the beat. Coming back to the theme of familiarity, play the Brittany Spears song towards the beginning of your disco set, and the PYT cover towards the end. The listeners will feel that emotion of familiarity in the beat, and not even know where it’s coming from!

Also, I love nu disco, and couldn’t help myself from posting one more remix by Eden Prince. A disco house remix of the CLASSIC song by Junior Jack, “My Feeling.” Get your disco shoes on for this one.
