Ekali & ZHU – Blame

Zhu ekali

Ekali and ZHU have finally released their new collaboration, Blame, combining Ekali’s spacious and unique drum arrangements with ZHU’s dreamlike vocal vibe. Both are able to create a whimsical and mysterious ambiance that lead to a contrast between chill and action.

The trap horns are used in a unique fashion, launching the contrast I spoke about above. The horns are jolting; however, give that ZHU vibe that we all know and love. I’m loving this collaboration, after both artist just came of a stellar 2017.

ZHU dropped his EP, stardustexhalemarrakechdreams, which was a beautifully written sinister cinematic journey.

Ekali has been dropping fire in 2017, with official remixes for Snakehips, MØ, Porter Robinson, and Flume. Skrillex remixed his popular song, Babylon, with Denzel Curry, and he made a mix appearance on Diplo and Friends. He started his own mix series called the Awakening Mix Series.
