Who I’d See at Electric Forest Weekend 2

Electric Forest Mix 2017

Electric Forest is one of the best electronic music festivals in the world, and the second weekend starts today in Rothbury, Michigan, United States, North America, Northern Hemisphere, Planet Earth.

Not only is the music on point at Electric Forest, but the vibe and aesthetics are out of this world. rBeatzRadio is celebrating Electric Forest this weekend with two exclusive sets from BRB and DJ Milk Dirty, playing only artists performing at Electric Forest. Below, I also take you through each act I’d see at Electric Forest if I were going (touchy subject) and their newest song.

rBeatz Exclusive Mix

Day 1 – Thursday, June 29th

Big Wild

Waka Flocka Flame

Chris Lake

Cashmere Cat

He is a music GOD involved in so many popular songs you hear today. Listen to this mix he put out yesterday to witness the mastery.

Big Gigantic

#1 Act for me when covering Bonnaroo

These guys are a live improve electronic jam band duo, so they only have mixes. Super cool to see them in action. These guys know how to throw a vibe.

Day 2 – Friday, June 30th

The Motet

The String Cheese Incident

Forest 101. You always go to Cheese at Forest. MUST GO! They’re playing Friday and Saturday and typically have an all inclusive parade. It’s amazing.

Vince Staples

12th Planet

One of the best party DJs on the planet. MUST SEE! He’s playing two sets this weekend.

You’re also safe to play his entire set from Holy Ship if you’re trying to turn up for an hr and 15 mins.

Tough they’re putting A-Trak and Lettuce so close together. You could leave A-Trak early if you’re partied out and want a more chill/funk vibe. These guys are an groovetastic funk band from New York. Legends in my book.

Dillon Francis

Also one of the best party DJ’s on the planet. By party, I mean he knows how to throw a rager/hype vibe. He’s also pretty funny to follow on social media…sooooo if you’re bored, follow him on snap.

Day 3 – Saturday, July 1st

Win and Woo

Taylor Bennett

The Floozies

The Floozies were in my top 3 favorite acts of Mysteryland last year. Super funky/glitchy/electronic.

This will be a super pretty set!

Day 4 – Sunday, July 2nd

Dirty Audio

The Infamous Stringdusters

Thievery Corporation

Listen to their whole last album, The Temple of I & I, super chill dub electronic vibes and a MUST SEE at Forest.

My 3rd favorite act at Bonnaroo this year. She’s absolutely amazing with the low-end down tempo swag.

RL Grime

Bassnectar was the reason I got into electronic music. Underground Communication was one of the first electronic records I listened to, and I’ve been hooked on low-end bass play ever since. I’ve seen Bassnectar about 15 times, and he gets better with age. Super pretty, bright, cerebral, playful, and bass oriented (both with pretty downtempo bass AND high energy). Bassnectar has a variety of vibes he might bring, which makes the anticipation to his show that much more exciting. The BASS GOD. Listen to his new album, Reflective, to get a taste of his vibe. #BassHead
