Kaskade is a special headliner because he appeared during the first Electric Zoo in 2009. Over 30 other acts were announced, ranging from deep house and techno to trance, trap and future bass. Some newcomers include Mija, TroyBoi, Manila Killa, YEHME2, Boombox Cartel, Cray, Noizu and Gryffin. Some of the acts that I personally got exited for were Zeds Dead, 12th Planet b2b Doctor P, Rezz, Troy Boi, Mija, San Holo, Kill The Noise, Illinium, K?D, Manila Killa, Krane, and Gramatik.

10 years ago, Electric Zoo featured deadmau5, a pre-cake Aoki and the late-great Frankie Knuckles. Since then, Electric Zoo has spread across the globe to Shanghai, Tokyo, Sao Paulo and Mexico City.
