Electric Zoo preview

Electric Zoo is this weekend, and rBeatzRadio has press passes! You can follow rBeatz on the App (Google Play and App Store), desktop, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram all weekend long for live updates of the 3 day electronic music festival taking place on Randall’s Island, New York City, New York, USA, North America, Planet Earth. I will be conducting exclusive interviews that will be found on the radio station and website.

Headliners include DJ Snake, Galantis, Above & Beyond, Zedd, Armin Van Buuren, and a back-to-back set between Deadmau5 and Eric Prydz.

Electric Zoo, thrown by Made Event, takes place every Labor Day weekend since 2009. In 2011, the festival moved to a 3 day format. Electric Zoo has been nominated by the International Dance Music Awards four times, putting themselves amongst the best music festivals on the planet. In 2015, ID&T, organizers of the Tomorrowland festival and an SFX subsidiary, came on board to work with Made Event as a creative partner.

In 2017, the curators of Electric Zoo are are throwing an ode to New York City by branding this year as The 6th Boro, implying the music festival scenes’ strong connectivity to New York City. Click here to view the stages and themes set for each stage.

Scroll down to see the acts I’m looking to cover along with a piece of quality, new content from the artist. The order is in set-times.

Directly below is a an exclusive mix from rBeatz resident DJ, BRB, of some of the sounds one might hear while attending this electric zoo. All songs should be heard this weekend. Scroll to the bottom to view the tracklist of the mix.

Dada Life

These guys love Bananas.
