Elohim – The Wave

Elohim the wave

In just a little over two years, LA-based musician, Elohim, is well on her way to becoming a household name. After the release of her first two singles in 2015–She Talks Too Much and Xanax, she has gone on to collaborate with artists such as fellow LA-native Casey Veggies and Whethan –  a producer who she recently teamed up with for the singles Skinny Legs and Sleepy Eyes.

Aside from half-faced photos on social media, Elohim has remained rather mysterious. She has developed a legion of devoted fans and continues to perform at sold-out shows across the country. It’s quite obvious that Elohim is just getting started and has no plans on slowing down anytime soon.

On Friday, fans were pleasantly surprised when Elohim released a new track titled The Wave. The track is undeniably a dance-club hit filled with sparkling synths, animated sound effects and bouncing bass, allowing Elohim to play around with different sounds and showcase her versatility. The lyrics, which are not to be ignored, provide solace for those who are constantly searching for something or someone they cannot seem to find.

If you have yet to discover the magical and mysterious world of Elohim, feel free to check out her work here or catch her on the FMUOASL Tour with Alison Wonderland.
