FABICH – Overtime (feat. James Vickery)

Fabich James Vickery

Fabich released Overtime featuring James Vickery. The London-based record producer has made music at Bob Marley’s house and collabed with Lyfe Jennings and Missy Elliott collaborator, Trina, and he had a VMA nominated video. He’s a German music producer who moved to London to pursue his craft. This future R&B sound is one of my favorites at the moment. I’m not really sure what makes this future R&B, I feel it’s just R&B, but I suspect it was made on a computer, so maybe that’s the future part.

On Overtime, Fabich enlisted the vocal talents from BBC introducing or on Disclosure’s Flow. I thought Fabich did a great job on allowing James soulful voice to shine through on this new project. I’m getting those old-school R&B gitters. The singer/songwriter’s influences are Stevie Wonder, Chaka Khan and Lauryn Hill, priding himself on his raw approach to songwriting. This song comes with a lot of feels.
