Far Out – The Force Theme (Star Wars Cover)

Far Out Star Wars

AHHHHHH Lowly Palace does it again. This time, combining two of my favorite things, electronic music and Star Wars. The new Star Wars movie, Star Wars: The Last Jedi, comes out tonight. In celebration of the release, the production duo from an alien planet, Far Out, have dropped a massive  cover of The Force Theme. The cover does a nice job of keeping a wide orchestral ambiance throughout the track, hitting the chorus hard with a retro, melodic trap twist.

The chorus almost sounds like a guitar, showcasing the artists talented production techniques. The oscillating vocal chops almost sound like aliens, and the ambiance keeps its orchestral vibe with modern day arpeggiated plucks.  The entire track flawlessly depicts an epic space battle for the modern Star Wars fan. I personally love what Disney has done to the new Star Wars movies, and to hear a modern day space battle song brightens my day as well.
