French Horn Rebellion – Rooftops feat. Natalie Duffy

It’s easy-listening Monday today at rBeatzRadioBrooklyn-based electro-funk group, French Horn Rebellion, released their new single, Rooftops, featuring Natalie Duffy. The song features Natalie’s airy, smooth vocals in front of fuzzy percussion elements that give me goosebumps. Shakers, high-hats, and a light kick go perfectly with Natalie’s voice. The song effortlessly moves into a wider ambiance on the chorus that sounds like a breath of fresh air. The arrangement moves super naturally, creating an ambiance perfect for pregames, working, studying, cooking, car rides, and simply hanging out and relaxing.

The third verse features vocals from Robert Perlick-Molinari, offering a nice contrast to the female vocals from Natalie Duffy.

Along with the single also came the announcement of 6 parties, extending their Night Out series around the world with their new YouTooCanWoo label.  See the tour dates and purchase tickets below if you see French Horn Rebellion is in a city near you. They throw a super groovy show featuring talented instrumentalists and a lot of dancing.

French Horn Rebellion formed in 2007, and since then, they’ve performed on five continents, always on the lookout for the best parties and fitting collaborators in order to create their ideal musical experience.  The group has worked with talented artists such as Beyoncé, Of Montreal, Cut Copy, Yelle, Hot Chip, St. Lucia, The Drums, Two Door Cinema Club, SebastiAn, Autograf, and OMD. Their unique style and brand has had them performing at chic events such as fashion weeks in New York (Lincoln Center), Paris (The Louvre, Jean Charles de Castelbajac), and Berlin (Pull & Bear).

French Horn Rebellion sent a quote along with the song….

“This is a song about perspective. There’s something magical when you get to the top of building. Looking down you see how small everything is. Looking up you feel this cosmic connection,” Robert says of the new single. “And when you’re with someone you love that feeling becomes euphoric. The troubles below get left behind, and you float on how your life could be. Meet me on the Rooftop and see for yourself.”
