Glassio Presents A Playlist Perfect for the Eclipse
Listening through on this sunny Monday got me thinking…the playlist is a great for the eclipse due to it’s serene ambiance and celestial feel. As I was listening to Deep Blue Day, I thought this song could be an entrance song for ascending to Heaven. A playlist for relaxing, meditating, working, studying, and adding to your eclipse experience.
Glassio sent a quote about the playlist.
“These are just a few different pieces we get warm and cozy with at the end of a long day; whether it be at home with a nice riesling, or during the late-night cab ride home from Analog BK in Gowanus – a favorite of ours. There’s always something very depressing about calling it a night when you’re out with people you love. It’s that dreaded walk/subway ride home that throws you back into reality, and it’s helpful to have a playlist that can smoothen that transition back into the real world. For the Welcome Campers Festival, there will be that final, dwindling bonfire at the end of the night that’ll serve as the comedown and hopefully this is where our playlist can be put to use. Campfires have always been introspective places for us, and these songs definitely pull us into our heads. Certain synthesizers tend to do that, like the Juno 60 (which you can hear on a number of these). It’s really all about the triangle and square waves. We hope this gracefully winds down your summer bonfires.”
Glassio will be one of the many talented acts playing at Welcome Campers September 8th through the 10th in Camp Lenox in Western Massachusetts. This festival isn’t like any of the ordinary music festivals. It combines featured artists with an array of camp activities reminiscent of summers past. Summer camp WITH music acts! Now that’s something different, and in this saturated music event market, something different is what we’re after.
The Wild Honey Pie is one of the top music bogs in the industry, continuing to differentiate themselves through unique music and unique experiences. Weekend passes include free meals, lodging, musical performances, and summer camp activities such as kayaking, nature hikes, campfires, arts and crafts, tennis, basketball, volleyball, kickball and so much more.
See below for some of the acts set to perform this weekend.
