H.E.R. – My Song

h.e.r. my song

As you will come to know through my blog posts, I am a man of substance. To be transparent is the most attractive quality a human can emulate, especially through music. When sifting through records this past weekend on my grueling commute into Manhattan, I came across a record called My Song by R&B artist, H.E.R. H.E.R.’s hidden identity, Gabi Wilson is one that has remained a secret until recently. The young singer came up on SoundCloud when she dropped her EP “H.E.R., Vol 1.” When listening to H.E.R expect a blend of R&B, Soul, and Hip-Hop. In 2018, I hope to watch H.E.R. continue to blossom into the power house vocalist and artist she will inevitability be in the upcoming future.

My Song is a heart filled ballot that consists purely of H.E.R.’s vocals layered over a beautiful piano. When listening to the record it shines a light on H.E.R.’s deep passion and ability as both a singer and songwriter. The single serves as a personal introduction to newer fans in hopes to keep them along for the ride. As of now, you can stream H.E.R.’s two album’s H.E.R. Volume 1 & H.E.R. Volume 2 on all streaming services.

What do you think of H.E.R.? Do you believe she is on the way to R&B superstardom?

Nick Viscogliosi

First off, thank you for visiting my page; Its a pleasure to be here. Name is Nick Viscogliosi, but my friends call me Nick Visco. As you can probably tell my name is one that not many can pronounce, so "Visco" is easier on everyone. Music has always been an outlet for me. Weather it be listening, or writing; I have always used it to help express my feelings. Being able to write about some of my favorite songs on here is a joy, however, don't be surprised if I say something you may not agree with. Being that I am such a music head, I can often be very critical. That being said I hope that you all enjoy my content, my goal is to bring as much personality as I can to my pieces. If I ever have an opinion you may not like, express that to me in the comments below and lets have a conversation! Blessings, Nick
