HUGEL – Bella Ciao

Hugel bella ciao

French producer HUGEL releases his new single, Bella Ciao, a groovey house spin with old-school Italian folk. One of my favorite things in music is when old-school sounds are given a modern take. When I first laid ears on this, I knew it would be my weekend song.

I’m obsessing over this song. In addition to the old, Italian vocals, it has an element of bass music. I’d put this under the category of future house.

HUGEL has produced official remixes for artists such as David Guetta, J Balvin, Charlie Puth and Robin Schulz. He’s got a residency in Ibiza at Ushuaia and Pacha with David Guetta. This festival season, he’s performing at Tomorrowland, Mysteryland, Lollapalooza, and more.

He’s got close to 70 million streams on Spotify. His most popular single is I Believe I’m Fine, a collaboration with Robin Schulz that’s accumulated close to 50 million streams on Spotify.
