J. Hutton – No Kidding

J. Hutton No Kidding

J.Hutton had one of my favorite submissions ever last year. The single is called No Complaints,  a folksy, funky, bouncy, rock track. It was his debut single. His second single is called No Kidding. It combines elements of rock, R&B, jazz, and funk to create a soothing vibe. I’m impressed with the genre-meshing from J. Hutton. His control of the transitions and complex jazz arrangements give the song a modern R&B feel.

The vocals on the track have a a country twang that leans pop-rock. J. Hutton is a 23 year old singer/producer from Canada. He is the Conductor of the Velvetesque Express. Raised by a draft-dodger from Alabama who taught him how to play the blues at the age of 8 years old in a smoke filled basement, Hutton channeled his craft to authentically express who he is.

The single is perfect for sipping wine on your porch, dance battles, camping, changing things up, catching up on chores, grooving out at work, and showing your friends you have good taste in new music.
