J.Lately – I’ll Be Living ft. Demrick & Khyenci Tienne

J.Lately Demrick

J.Lately has come out with a new music video to his single, I’ll Be Living featuring Demrick and Khyenci Tienne. What caught me with this single is the reliability. It’s a backpack rap style similar to Chiddy Bang, who I loved in college. The vibe with Khyenci Tienne voice on the hook slows the vibe down, giving that sensation that life is moving slower. A nice contrast to the rap verses from J.Lately and Demrick. They rap about the simple pleasures in life: a girl in a tent getting J.Lately super blazed: the rappers version of a great day that a lot of people can stand behind.

The music video was directed by Adrian Per and the track was produced by Tha Shipmates

J.Lately came out with the music video fresh off his 19-city Be Fucking Happy tourpromoting the release of his new album, Be Fucking Happy. If you like Chiddy Bang and clever blazer rap, check the album out below.

Demrick is a Philadelphia rapper also known as Young De. He’s collaborated with Xzibit, Kurupt, Snoop Dogg, Too $hort, B-Real and Cypress Hill. He’s widely recognized as a protege of Cypress Hill and Xzibit.
