Jef Miles – Up Down Center Inside

One of my favorite songs in college was Sak Noel‘s Loca People. The song below by the Vancouver EDM production duo, Jef Miles brings a similar vibe with their new single, Up Down Center Inside. I also went abroad to Madrid, Spain, so this song speaks to me in many languages. The chorus of this song is what you say at 2am before you take a shot in Spain. “Arriba, abajo, al centro, adentro!” which translates in english to “Up, down, center, inside.” Physically you cheers up top, you cheers below, you cheers in the middle, then you take the shot.

This song is a BANGER, and most certainly an anthem for the duo. Latin Big Room House is one of my favorite genres, and I believe there’s room for this genre to grow in the United States. With a congo percussion, big brass horns, and heavy kicks, there is no doubt about the energy brought by this track.

After garnishing over 2 million listens on Spotify, the duo now looks to create their first EP this year. We’re looking forward to what Jef Miles will create next because they’re just starting to roll out some great stuff.
