Khalid – Young Dumb & Broke (StéLouse Flip)

STéLO-- USE khalid

Khalid is big right now. He’s one of the bigger names on the new Governors Ball lineup, and for good reason.

Governors Ball 2018

His debut single was released about a year and a half-ago. The single was Location, which peaked at #16 on the Billboard Hot 100. Since then, the 19 year old artist has amassed a huge following with over 1.5 billion streams on Spotify. Simply put, he blew-up QUICK, thanks to signing with Right Hand Music Group and RCA Records.

The song below is a flip of one of his most popular tracks, Young Dumb & Broke, done by StéLouse. It’s a more uplifting version of the original, adding euphoric melodic future bass synth hits to demonstrate moments of elation when you’re young, dumb, and broke. I think this song might have reinvigorated a track, that was released off Khalid’s successful 2017 album, American Teen.

Both Khalid and StéLouse had breakout years in 2017, both releasing successful new albums. StéLouse’s album was self-titled.
