LAMB$ Drain me

LAMB$ is a rapper from Ohio, whose flow and lyrics hit me on my first listen on his new single, DRAIN ME. He raps on top of a guitar-laden beat produced by Decicco. The entire track has an ambient feel guided by LAMB$ personal story. This lyrics and percussion elements are poetically arranged, beautifully playing off one another.

The guitar gives the entire song a sit-down authentic vibe (think guitar by a fireplace). There’s a personal touch to this project, which I can hear in the lyrics and instrumentation. LAMB$ talks about his struggling growing up without a father, while his mother had to sell crack to survive. He had to figure everything out for himself. That vulnerability should be listened to and heard. He is who he is because of how he grew up. If he keeps making fire songs like this, I see a bright future for this guy.
