LıssA – Some Of Me feat. Philip Nolan

Lissa philp nolan

LissA‘s smokey vocals really come through in her new single, Some Of Me, featuring Philip Nolan and produced by the Berlin-based producer, Mazde. There’s a smokiness to LissA’s voice similar to WEKEED’s Wild Child with a more mature feel. The song features the Irish singer/songwriter, Philip Nolan, in its second verse, creating a nice contrast from female to male vocals. The back and forth between the two create a nice harmonized love story that really completes the love narrative. The story in the song is told by two x-lovers who recently broke up, and each of them are having slight feelings of regret, lamenting, “some of me still miss you bad.”

This soothing indie-chill vibe is perfect for Majestic Casual. LissA’s first project in the electronic music field was, Pitch Black, back in 2015 with Mazde, racking up over 1,000,000 views on Youtube. Since then, LissA and Mazde have been working together on various collaborations.

Last year, LissA came out with a cover of Gorillaz’ Feel Good Inc. with producer, Filous, from Austria, that made it to #1 on the popular HypeMachine Charts and was then officially released through Ultra and Sony, gaining 17 million plays on Spotify.
