LUXXURY – I Need You

Luxxury I Need You

I’m in a funky mood today. LUXXURY’s new song gets me in the mood to go out in a suit and see what happens. If I could control nature, I’d also make the sun come out. Great nu disco jam for a long car ride, late night 70’s party, 70’s high school throwback cinematography, or anything outdoors. The production on this electronic disco track is super smooth and carries an ambient disco vibe throughout the track that’s truly mesmerizing.

The song is about love. With the 50th anniversary of the Summer Of Love, it’s perfectly timed for a new-age summer of love, filled with the daughters and sons of hippies yearning for electronic music with more live instrument value. More and more artists these days are adding live elements to their productions and shows.

The artist behind the track, Blake Robin, explains: “It’s the most honest song I’ve ever written, indeed when I sing it live I blush from revealing myself in public so shamelessly. But frankly I’m a bit of an exhibitionist, so it all works out.”

Billy Caruso was brought in for collaboration on the keyboard arrangement, giving a slight melancholy tone that caters to the aches and pains of love. Joe Karnes from Fitz and the Tantrums is on the bass, or the backbone of funk music.
