Moglebaum – Grown Heart EP

moglebaum grown heart

Moglebaum recently released their EP, and it’s a reverent expression of future R&B with remnants of soul, jazz, glitch, future bass, indie, and electronic music.

Click HERE to see what I’ve written about the lead single, Echo of Time. Oh yea, I’ve also written about Phone, so click HERE for my thoughts on that hype beat.

Slow Love is a beautiful indie-R&B track with metallic, synthy, percussion sounds and an uplifting vibe.

Animal is simply beautiful, bringing a much more cerebral, celestial ambiance into the EP. The vocals are super soulful and carry a peaceful weight. The drums pick up towards the end, creating an easy to follow energy build throughout the track.

Forever Wild has a much more jazz, funk arrangement. The single slows down in electronic fashion, and it picks back up with vocals that lead into that smooth sax.

Queen of Melody is an ode to house music. The track really builds throughout, giving me some sax house towards the end.

Smile is a bit more of an pop R&B, funk, jazz rendition that ends as a future house party with oscillating synths and bouncing percussion.
Moglebaum is a 5-piece electronic band from Germany led by Moglii.
