The vocal play on Darlin’ by Nambyar featuring Full Crate is incredible. With a future R&B spin containing dynamic electronic elements and amazing vocal play, this is the product labels are after. Full Crate was responsible for the production behind Nambyar’s vocals, proving a delightful combination.

Nambyar is an R&B artist from Amsterdam. Full Crate is a Mad Decent artist. One of his most recent works, HOT, was with The Partysquad and Nick & Navi, the nieces of dance-hall legend Shabba Ranks.

Nambyar sent a quote along about the song…

“I was playing some chords while Full Crate was making this crazy beat. It caught me right away, I knew I had to lay some vocals on it straight away.”

The single is about…

“someone close, stuck in a toxic and repetitive cycle to wake up, recognize the toxic patterns and try to break them.”

The music video was directed by his brother Kay Nambiar. The dramatic shots represent that emotion and tempo of Nambyar’s soulful but soft spoken voice.

He’s performed at last year’s ADE (Amsterdam Dance Event), Pitch Festival, and Eurosonic. He’s also opened shows for Billie Eilish.
