It’s Friday night, and while a large population will be hitting the bars and nightclubs here in New York City, I will be staying in, plundering the internet for new music and sounds. Below are 10 new songs that I plundered and enjoyed this week with a bit about each. #NewMusicFriday

Plastik Funk – Rise

Groovy house released off Armada Deep. Plastik Funk is coming off a remix released on BMG for Marc Scibilia & StadiumX.

Omar linX – Old Times (prod. IZII)

Toronto native Omar linX started his career with a release off Diplo’s Mad Decent label. Since then, he’s worked with Zeds Dead, Marshmello, and Hunter Seigel.

Dantes – who do you think you are? (prod. engelwood)

The son of Cuban political refugees, Dantes, used to be a prodigy clarinetist/saxophonist. He’s worked a lot in Hip-Hop, able to keep his anonymity somewhat, working with big acts such as Tory Lanez, Playboi Carti, Project Pat, Young Chop and 808 Mafia.

Emmalyn – Self Care

Beautiful voice on this. This song was produced by George Reid of Alunageorge. Her track #FreeTitties stayed at the top of Spotify’s Global Viral 50 for 7 weeks.

Cheyenne – Kiss

Another beautiful voice. Cheyenne Tozzi is an Australian supermodel/singer/songwriter. She’s been on the cover of Mexican Vogue, German Cosmopolitan, and French Madame Figaro magazine.

Le Boeuf – Red Lights (Ft. Natali Noor)

Le Boeuf has produced official remixes for artists such as Travis Scott, DJ Mustard, Warren G., and Seinabo Sey.

Tourist – We Stayed Up All Night (feat. Ardyn)

The UK band performed at Coachella. They open for Bonobo and Bob Moses.

Saunas – My Body

This band members recently reunited at a wedding and started collaborating. A brand new project out of Nashville, TN.

J.Lately – Let’s Go Ft. Rexx Life Raj [prod. Kris Rewlz]

This is the first single off J Lately’s upcoming album Be Fucking Happy, set to release September 22nd. After his album release, he will be hitting 10 states for his Be F’ing Happy tour.

Savi feat. Ida da Silva – Losin’ Myself

His first release hit #7 on the Spotify Global. He’s coming off an official remix with The Chainsmokers.

Chris Stack is one of the founding members of rBeatz. After graduating from Kenyon College, Chris joined a branding and marketing startup, BrandYourself (as seen on SharkTank), in New York City. After leading the company to grow past profitability as a leading account manager, Chris set his sights on his passion: music. He currently runs his own LLC in New York City, helping musicians in the city with their online presence and marketability.
