12 New Songs on the Block

2017 best new edm

Another installment of 12 songs that I like this week. I recently found these songs via sumbithub.com, and have taken quite a liking to each and every one of them. The genres range from hip-hop to tropical house. Hope you enjoy this eclectic set of musical compositions I’ve put together.

Drop Legs – Lizzy

A modern Sublime

LADONNIS – Hallelujah

Artistic hip-hop music video with a killer chorus, AND it’s done with a slight 90s vibe. Nostalgia is nice 🙂

Sol – Marathons

With “Marathons”, Sol continues his never-ending journey of self-discovery and the pursuit of happiness – two things that have driven humans forward since the beginning of time. It’s not a race, it’s a marathon, folks.

Paige & Lizzie Curious – Tonight

Future house with some nice distant vocal chops. Get lost in this one.

Pawl – Young & Faded (feat. Jimmy Burney)

PAWL is from the promise-land of electronic indie music with a dash of tropical. Keep an eye on him!

Treyy G & Klave – So Weak (Feat. Joe Cardigan)

Another young one from Sweden! A lot of soul in these vocals – that slow tropical indie vibe.

MING – Keep Running

That deeep house with uplifting vocals – uplifting deep house. Similar disco deep house vibe as Disclosure.

Satellite Empire – Thrones (Crystal Skies Remix)

Part of Satellite Empire’s new remix EP for Satellite Empires ” Thrones .” Electro-ambient rock n roll/dubstep

BATTS – For Now

Slower – beautiful voice from Melbourne, Australia. Sit back and enjoy the voice on this one. A bit of folk on it.

Duran Duran – Last Night in The City (feat. Kiesza) TOKiMONSTA Remix

Bouncy electronic remix with epic vocals

Julia Carlucci – Take Me Down

I love this vocal arrangement. Such a good voice! Someone make a remix using these vocals ASAP!

Saux – For I Know

Some mellow disco vibes from Amsterdam
