The Oh Hellos – Hello My Old Heart (Teddy Beats Remix)

Teddy Beats The Oh Hellos

Teddy Beats released his new remix of The Oh Hellos‘ most popular song, Hello My Old Heart. I love it. I grew up listening to Irish-folk music, so the vocal harmonies are close to my heart. For those of us on the electronic music spectrum, Teddy Beats amplifies the project. With an added kick and snare arrangement, the song gets more of a driving sensation. I’d throw this under the category of chill folk house; one of my favorite genres. This remix is great for long drives on the coast, short drives to the supermarket, relaxing, trying to relax, watching sunsets, being in nature, studying, working, chilling, chilling hard, painting, cooking, a feel good yet modest Instagram video, singing in the shower, or ice skating.

Teddy Beats is a DJ from Washington, DC, whose released music under my personal favorite deep house entity, The Bearded Man, an imprint on Armin van Buuren’s Armada Music. I’ve had this remix on repeat for a couple hours, and I now feel super “in the zone.”

The Oh Hellos are an independent, folk rock duo from San Marcos, Texas. They are a brother and sister duo consisting of Tyler and Maggie Heath. They’ve released 5 studio albums.
