Patawawa – Patagonia

patawawa Patagonia

If you’re reading and keeping up with the rBeatzRadio music discovery portion, you know I love funky stuff. Patawawa gave me just that with their new single, Patagonia. With super bright horns, a bluesy guitar, and some smokey smooth vocals, everything about this song grooves. I also love that horn sound that kind of sounds like a duck. It all works so well together, and I can’t help from moving my hips back and forth.

This song is great for pregames, disco parties, easy listening, a car ride on the coast, your little nieces’ birthday party, cooking while dancing, eating while dancing, and any Instagram video showing off how great your life is.

Patawawa is a Nu Disco trio featuring Sam Wilmot, Rory Lovatt, and Beth Garrett. They are from Matlock, Derbyshire, UK. They are releasing their debut EP, BEDROOM, the 26th of January. They’ve got 5 million views on Spotify, as I see millions more in their future. They’re being picked up by leading publications, and pop is ALL over funk these days.

They are releasing their EP off the French imprint Splinter, who are putting out some good stuff recently. Check em’
