Pink Flamingo Rhythm Revue – Something Special

Pink Flamingo Rythm Revue

OMG! The funk is constant with this one and those sensual vocal chops really add to this song’s sexy vibe. There is a funk glitch vibe to the underlying arrangement that really help support the groovy topline.

A friend of French Horn Rebellion, Eric “Doc” Mendelsohn, formerly of Ghost Beach and TV/TV releases the third single of his new project, Pink Flamingo Rhythm Revue, Something Special.

Pink Flamingo Rhythm Review is a project the explores themes of vice, ego and heartbreak through tragic characters who can’t help but get in their own way with an overlaying funky, tongue-in-cheek vibe.

The artist has supplemented this track with a quote, which we always love at rBeatz

“Something special explores the challenge of accepting help when it seems like the world is out to get you. It’s about a change in perspective. You might be overlooking the love and support you already have.”

This is another #LocalStuff post because on June 30th in Brooklyn, NY at Rough Trade, Pink Flamingo Rhythm Revue, along with various other acts will be performing at  YouTooCanWoo’s label launch party. RSVP Here .
