Robotaki – Butterscotch (feat. Jamie Fine x falcxne)

robotaki

Robotaki releases Butterscotch featuring Jamie Fine and falcxne. This is his final single release before his anticipated Science EP. The vibe on the track is super soulful. It has an old-soul ambiance, which includes a lengthy guitar solo towards the end. I can certainly classify this as future R&B, containing modern, electronic elements surrounded by a nostalgia feel.

Robotaki sent a quote along about the single…

“Butterscotch is a song I’ve always wanted to make about that electric feel you get when you’ve just met someone you’re really into. The past tells you that this has happened before and that you probably shouldn’t think too much on it, but something inside keeps nagging you to give it another shot. Attraction can feel like love but you know they’re not the same – at least not yet.”

Butterscotch demonstrates Robotaki’s eclectic production value. He’s released three other songs this month, all containing different elements of future bass, electro pop, glitch pop, and other electronic elements with super catchy hooks and technical precision. Butterscotch sounds like a maturation of sound, with a more classically soul vibe.

Jamie Fine’s crooning voice harmonizes beautifully with warm, lush undertones throughout the song.

Science EP will drop in April on Majestic Casual Records.
