RZLZ – Feed You On My Vices

RZLZ Feed you on my vices

If you’ve been keeping up, one of my weakness’ are an emotional vocal arrangement with a full ambiance. RZLZ new single, Feed You On My Vices, is just that.  This is the third release from Dutch singer/songwriter, RZLZ aka Roza Lozica. The vibe is future R&B with a bit more of a haunting feel. RZLZ was born into a musical family. She has Croatian roots and  attended Holland’s finest academies of music. Her inspirations in music come from that of soul and R&B: Marvin Gaye, Aretha Franklin and Whitney Houston.

One of the vocal arrangement techniques I was most stricken about was the contrast between the verses and the chorus. While the vocals on the verses were quite subdued, building anticipation for the chorus slowly, the vocals in the chorus comes in strong. There is a more downtempo emo/punk/rock feel in her voice, that I found unique from other future R&B productions.

We wrote about her debut single, Floating, as well. Click HERE to listen to her debut single and read what I had to say about it.
