Sam F & TastyTreat – Wavy (feat. Sophie Rose)

Sam F Wavy

Sam F is on rBeatzRadioHis newest single, Wavy, was produced with TastyTreat and features smooth pop vocals from Sophie Rose on top of a future bass arrangement. I say future bass arrangement because the instrumentation is not quite what you’d expect from your typical future bass track. The instruments after the drop are more reminiscent of pop music, so I’d say this was a hybrid future bass/pop song.

The feel good song has dynamic percussion arrangements during the chorus with unique fills that keep the listener guessing what’s going to happen next. You might remember Sam F from his 2014 viral SNL skit “When Will The Bass Drop.” I posted the video below if you needed a reminder or still haven’t seen it. I thought it was hilarious. After his stint on SNL, Sam F moved to LA to pursue music. I’d say he’s been doing pretty great since, signing songs to major labels such as Steve Aoki’s Dim Mak, A-trak’s Fools Gold, and Universal.

He has a song coming out with JVZEL coming out on December 15th. It’s called On My Way. I posted JVZEL’s newest single, Tired Af, below. It’s an R&B/soul track with playful lyrics, velvet cadence, and super dynamic percussion arrangement.
