Seven Lions & Jason Ross – Ocean (Feat. Jonathan Mendelsohn)

Seven Lions jason ross

Seven Lions releases two collaborations with Jason Ross today. The first is a future bass track called Ocean featuring Jonathan Mendelsohn. The seconds is a psy trance jam called The Sirens. These are Seven Lions’ second release off his newly founded label, Ophelia.

On each track, you certainly hear Seven Lions’ signature growling sound, even on The Sirens, adding some dubstep bass to Jason Ross’ psy trace vibe.

On Ocean, the production plays with the snare positioning by putting unique sounds in that space. This creates a dropping sensation that really plays with the energy. What I love most about Seven Lions is his ability to vary up his genre drops. There’s no telling what EDM genre he’ll drop next. His productions are all super cinematic, wide, and energetic.

The collaborations come the same week Jeff Montalvo aka Seven Lions announced one of his biggest headline shows yet at Red Rocks Amphitheater in Denver, Colorado. This represents the second Chapter in his Chronicles event series. For pre-sale tickets to Seven Lions Chronicles Chapter 2 show, click HERE. Check out his tour dates below the music. Seven Lions has been one of my favorite acts to watch live. Check out my coverage of him on his Horizon Tour last year by clicking HERE. I highly recommend his show if your into EDM.
