Short Film: The Privates – Dylan Allen

The Privates Dylan Allen

Written and directed by Dylan Allen, The Privates is a hilarious music-based short film, shot in Brooklyn, New York and widely released just a few months ago on March 19th. It’s about an upstart garage-band that is just a bit unluckier than most.

While most new bands struggle to build a fanbase or keep all the members going in the same direction, The Privates struggle with the fact that they play their music at a radioactive frequency that spontaneously combusts whenever they play out.

The movie stars Omar Maskati as bass player Ben Farkus, Lilli Stein as Sasha “Kep” Kepler, Alex Herrald as lead singer and guitarist Max Wakefield, and Rachel Trachtenburg as guitarist Roka Kepler.
