Steve Aoki x Lauren Jauregui – All Night

Lauren Jauregui steve aoki-min

Steve Aoki and Lauren Jauregui have a new single. It’s called All Night, and it’s now on rBeatzRadio. You might remember Lauren Jauregui from the group Fifth Harmony, which also consisted of the #2 artist on the Hot 100 Billboard charts, Camila Cabello, who Lauren is currently dating. This is Lauren’s first lead vocal original.

Steve Aoki is coming off the Kolony LP, which I posted below for your listening pleasure. The LP was interesting because it combines electronic elements with rap and hip-hop. It’s a self-proclaimed hip-hop album, which a lot of it is; however, the electronic trap elements are undeniable. A lot of the festivals these days are putting hip-hop and electronic acts at different set times, and Steve Aoki is showing he can do both at the same dam time. The LP has a crazy lineup, featuring big name rappers such as iLoveMakonnen, Gucci Mane,  T-Pain, 2 Chainz, Lil Uzi Vert, Lil Yatchty, Migos, Ma$e, and Wale….wow.

His album prior to the Kolony LP was Neon Future III, showcasing his more electronic sound that made him who he is now. All Night is a bit of a shift towards the pop realm, a trend we’re seeing a lot with electronic artists (i.e Skrillex, NGHTMRE, Jayceeoh).

During the creation process, AOKI and Jauregui vibed fairly quickly. They were going for a track with a delicate side, and like most starting ideas, that changed a bit. The track turned into a dance floor earworm with a sense of vulnerability meant to celebrate self-love.
