The Apollos – Lost Myself

The Apollos Lost Myself

Alex Lacasse is a 22 year old singer/songwriter from Ottawa, Ontario Canada. The Apollos are an electronic duo from Canada made up of singer/songwriter Alex Lacasse and producer Kellen Pomeranz. The two have been working together for a decade. They live in a log cabin, and make music 23 hours a day. The other hour, they are ice fishing. At least, this is what they tell us!

This is what it takes to create good music: time in the studio. This track comes from a somewhat unknown duo that have a lot of potential if they continue to produce like this. There isn’t much about them online, but I ran across this pop-soul submission on submithub.com and fell in love on first listen. The track has a dreamy landscape ambiance with R&B/Soul/Pop style vocals that create a sound that I wouldn’t flinch to if I heard it on the radio. Such a superb first single!
