Two Feet – I Feel Like I’m Drowning

Two Feet had one of my favorite songs in 2017. It’s called Had Some Drinks (posted below). I liked the single because of the contrast between the highs & lows, and it’s simplicity. The sub bass is super gritty and the blues guitar was authentic sounding. Nothing too surprising and the percussion elements were simple. The voice wasn’t overwhelming, leaving me with a folksy feel.

Their new single, I Feel Like Downing, uses similar elements to what I loved so much about Had Some Drinks. Their vibe and arrangements remind me a bit of a downtempo version of AWOLNATION’s Sail. His voice reminds me of a similar, unique cadence as Allan Rayman.

Two Feet is NY-based artist in his 20s. He’s participated in a couple Jazz bands over the years; however, Two Feet is his first official project, and he’s part of Majestic Casual Records. He embarked on his first tour in 2017 and is looking to hit Europe in 2018. I’m pumped to hear what the young musician has planned for 2018.
