tyler coolidge – BAEWATCH (produced by BONHAM CARTER)

tyler coolidge

Tyler Coolidge has a fresh flow on his new single, BAEWATCH, produced by BONHAM CARTER. The filtered synths sound like they keep the song moving forward, an ode to BONHAM’s dynamic arrangement. The hook around is 0:40 is FIRE on the percussion end of things. It’s a melodic percussion with those infectious synths glitching in and out of the track.

Tyler’s vocals are hot. Reminds me a bit of G Eazy with more of an indie/hip-hop vibe. He’s also got a fair amount of R&B in his flow, singing a bit on the track (the section between 1:22 and 1:50 is very R&B).

There’s not much about Tyler online. We know he lives in Castro Valley in California. We also know his influences: Drake, Jay-Z,Kanye West, Biggie, John Mayer, Frank Sinatra, Sade,  and Young Jeezy.

This single is perfect for beachin, coolin, pregames, relaxin, showing your friends new rappers, casual Fridays, and car rides ANYWHERE.
