Wayfarer// – Why’d You Let Me Out ft. NOVAA

Melbourne-based producer Wayfarer // finds inspiration in almost everything.  Turning samples and live instrumentation into a more progressive sound, he speaks about how he is able to add elements of Melbourne’s summery weather into his spin of British future soul in his collaborative effort with Berlin-based artist NOVAA:  “My little studio has been getting turned into a sauna by the Australian summer- a far cry from the cold climates I’ve been drawing influence from – but I tried to take that British feel and combine it with what was around me.  I think it came through, Melbourne has a reel vibe in summer and it just gave the record some extra bounce.”
