Who is Terry Hudson?
Terry Hudson has had quite a career in the entertainment industry. He has been a radio promoter, television and movie producer, artist manager, record label president, wrestling personality, and industry coach. He’s spent almost 20 years in the industry and has worked with hundreds of people throughout the entertainment world.
Terry is known in the industry as “Dream Maker,” as he has helped countless people make their dreams a reality. His successes have been covered by the TV network TLC, in which viewers were able to follow him during a two-episode airing of “A Makeover Story.” He has also appeared on the PAX network and has been in various television and radio programs.
His work has been discussed in various newspaper and magazine articles throughout the years of his career. Terry is the author of several books, including Timeline: Your Guide to Creating an Intentional Future, available in paperback and on Kindle. He is also the creator of the seminar “7 Steps To Music Industry Success,” which teaches students the key points they need to be successful in the music and movie industry.
He’s had much success in the entertainment industry. He has worked as the Vice-President at Showcase Management, created a brand new sales department at Aviv Moon Productions, and was a Managing Partner at OakHill Music.
What’s Terry Doing Now?
In recent years, Terry has become the owner and founder of Hudson Media Concepts, allowing him to be a consultant to various talents across the entertainment industry, specifically the music industry. He’s based in Charlotte, NC.
He’s coached hundreds of students, teaching them how to build a fan base and get media publicity, how to make more money in the industry, how to create moments and not just to-do lists, how to make the most of rehearsals, and how to network with the key players that can help musicians and other artists get noticed and get the recognition needed to succeed in the industry. He holds Jambox sessions workshops, as well as his own seminars with his “7 Steps To Music Industry Success” program.
Terry has had students from his “7 Steps” seminars go on to make a name for themselves in their industries, including students who have become platinum and gold artists, television and movie actors, and award winners. He’s had clients receive sponsorships from various corporations known across the globe, and some that appear on national radio and TV shows. He himself has been nominated for a Grammy Award and a Dove Award during his consulting career.
Terry has this to say about his consulting work, “I describe my consulting work as two-fold. On one side, I help people identify their calling and provide the tools to develop and enhance it. On the other side, I promote people’s talent and bring it into the view of their industry. My motto for this two-fold approach is ‘Bringing Talent To The Surface.’” Terry’s unique two-fold approach to teaching students has allowed him to help numerous students achieve their dreams of stardom and fame.
He has also started the Dream Builders Movement, where he collaborates with artists and record companies around the country, working to make positive changes around the world. In his spare time, Terry speaks on leadership and processes in the entertainment industry at colleges, trade shows, and events across the United States.
